The 50 speakers and delegates from more that 10 countries unfolded a very ambitious programme for the fourth FEAST event. Major speakers included:

Enhancing Research Through Collaboration and Linkages

For the first time in Australia, a conference gathered delegates from Australia and Europe to discuss European-Australian research relationships. The conference was officially opened by Senator the Honourable Nick Minchin, Australian Minister for Industry, Science and Resources. The two day event featured distinguished speakers including:
- his excellency Mr Pierre Viaux, Ambassador of France,
- Professor Vicki Sara, Chair of the Australian Research Council,
- Dr Robin Batterham, Australian Chief Scientist,
- Mr Achilleas Mitsos, Director-General, Research Directorate-General of the European Commission,
- Professor Ian Chubb, Vice Chancellor of The Australian National University,
- Professor Franck Larkins, Vice-President of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering,
- Dr Daniel Cadet, Director for International Affairs of the CNRS (France),
- the Honourable Dr David Kemp MP, Minister for Education, Training and Youth Affairs.
