Policy
The Minister of Research and Technological Development of the Walloon Region is responsible for the most important part of the R&D policy, namely the one that is related to the final technology. The other Ministers are responsible for scientific policy initiatives that fall within the context of their respective domains.
Agencies
The Directorate General for Technologies, Research and Energy (DGTRE) is divided into four departments: scientific research and cooperation; assistance to the enterprises and SME’s; control and coordination of the structural funds; and, energy.
