The Portuguese Office for International Relations in Science and Higher Education is the department of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education responsible for directing, guiding and co-ordinating all international co-operation in science and technology. The website contains information on bilaterial agreements, European Union engagements, international networks and other Portuguese-speaking countries.

IC: Instituto Camões
The Instituto Camões was created to promote the Portuguese language and culture world-wide. The Instituto Camões has administrative and patrimonial autonomy, that, under the supervision of the Portuguese Minister of the Foreign Affairs, assures the co-ordination and execution of the external cultural policies of Portugal.
