Beginning from 2009, Association of Geophysicists and Environmentalists of Serbia started to organize international and regional Conferences related to Geosciences. Each year, the Conference is organized in different city in order to more widely promote Environmental- and Geosciences in community, among professionals, public bodies, NGOs, public and private companies employees, but with special attention to the future colleagues, students, high school and elementary school pupils.
The 3rd International Conference: Geosciences and Environment, that will be held in Continental Hotel Belgrade, is continuation of activities related to promotion of Geosciences at international level. The Conference includes paper presentations (oral/poster), short courses, workshops, networking events, social events and Technical exhibition. The organisers are expecting 250 international and domestic attendees, but for the first time a great number (200-250) of international students is expected that will attend the 3rd International Geosciences Student Conference, held 29-31 May 2012, at the same venue place.
