The People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) invites applications from scientific researchers and conservationists for financial support for work that is aimed at the preservation of endangered species, either through research or practical field work. Priority will be given to those projects that are likely to lead to a lasting benefit for the species concerned. Applications for work in all countries, in particular developing countries and the UK, will be considered.
Applications are welcomes from scientific researchers and workers in the field of conservation.
Applications from graduate students will not be considered.
Grants are usually in the region of £500 to £10,000. On occasion more substantial grants are given. The average grant awarded last year was £3,000.
