description

Australia’s research community has been among those offering aid to the University of L’Aquila, as it struggles to rebuild, and recommence its teaching and research by offering 10 Awards of AU$5,000 towards the visit of a researcher from L’Aquila to an Australian institution.

The Award has the financial support of the Australian Universities of the Group of Eight, the Australian Academy of Science of Science, and the “What if they never existed?” fund. The Travel Award is administered by ARIA-Canberra on behalf of the Italian research community in Australia.
