Fraunhofer Attract offers researchers with an exceptional track record the opportunity to develop their ideas towards application. A call for proposals is held twice a year.
The Fraunhofer Attract profile:
- A research budget of €2.5 million over 5 years.
- Budget and recruiting responsibility to establish and run a new research group at a Fraunhofer Institute.
- Do research in close cooperation with industry.
- Develop ideas towards application in Fraunhofer facilities.
The grant targets talents at universities, research organisations and industry with some postdoctoral experience and motivated to work in a dynamic and renowned contract research organisation. The Fraunhofer portfolio covers nearly all fields of applied technical R&D — from production technology, photonics, materials sciences, microelectronics to life sciences.
