The “European Respiratory Society” (RESPIRE) offers Postdoctoral Fellowships co-financed by Marie Curie “Co-funding of regional, national and international programmes” (COFUND) in the area of respiratory medicine.
The Postdoc-Fellowships provide funding for postdoctoral research visits for exactly 12 month to laboratories throughout Europe. The programme is open to scientist of all nationalities. Priorities will be given to candidates, home supervisors and/or host supervisors who are ERS members. Researchers with a minimum of four years of research experience or a PhD in the area of respiratory medicine are eligible. Furthermore, at the time of application, applicants must have at least one first author publication in press or published in an international peer reviewed journal. The funding comprises travel costs as well as a stipend for the fellow and stipends for family members younger than 16 years.
