The “Fonds nationale de la Recherche Luxembourg” offers Postdoctoral Fellowships co-financed by Marie Curie “Co-funding of regional, national and international programmes” (COFUND). The programme has no thematic limitations.
The Postdoc-Fellowships provide funding for postdoctoral research visits for 24 months in Luxembourg and abroad. The programme is open to scientists of all nationalities.
Postdoctoral candidates can apply until up to 8 years after reception of their PhD certificate. The candidates are the principal authors of the project proposal and it is their responsibility to find a suitable host institution with a competent research group in their field. In the selection process, the interest of the project in the context of Luxembourg R&D will nevertheless be evaluated. In order to be eligible as a postdoc, the research training has to be carried out in a different country from where the applicant has been principally (>12 months) working in the 24 months preceding the beginning of the intended postdoctoral funding period.
