This Marie Curie funding scheme provides financial support for cross-border staff-exchange between at least two organisations, one from each sector and from at least two different EU-Member States or Associated Countries. The available budget amounts to €80 million.
The IAPP funding addresses consortia of one or more research organisations (e.g. universities/research centres) and one or more commercial enterprises. There must be at least one participant from each of the two sectors and from at least two different EU-Member States or Associated Countries. Above this minimum, the participation of institutions from Third Countries and of international organisations is possible. Staff exchange however will only be paid for if the exchange takes place between different sectors. The IAPP funding comprises the salaries of the exchanged researchers as well as salary of newly recruited researchers. There is also some minor additional funding for network activities included.
