The Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowships (IIF) are for researchers external to Europe to work in a European research team. The Marie Curie Actions are sponsored by the European Commission (EC).
All areas of scientific and technological research that are of interest to the EU may be eligible for IIF funding. Researchers of any nationality active or recently active in Third Countries are eligible for an IIF, i.e., countries that are neither EU Member States nor Associated Countries.
Applicants must have either a doctoral degree or at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience.
Funding through the IIF is provided for periods of one to two years.
Applications should be made in liaison with a host organization in Europe (e.g., universities, research centers, or private companies).
