The European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM) Fellowship Programme was launched in 1990 to enable young scientists to perform research at ERCIM institutes. The fellowships are available for PhD holders from all over the world.
The objective of the programme is to enable bright young scientists to work collectively on a challenging problem as fellows of leading European research centers. Only ERCIM members can host fellows. A member institute will not be eligible to host a candidate of the same nationality.
The fellowships are of 18 months’ duration. The fellow will receive a monthly allowance for the whole period of 18 months, which will vary depending on the country (the range is €500 in the Czech Republic to €3050 in Norway). Costs for travelling to and from the institutes will be paid, but not moving expenses.
