These bursaries will fund attendance at oncology workshops or at workshops designed to promote transdisciplinary working or promote new (relevant) technology. Workshops must have an obvious training component and the benefit of attendance to the individual concerned should be clearly highlighted. The relevance of the workshop to the individual’s work in cancer research must be made clear.
The bursary will provide registration fees for the workshop and travel costs for attendance. Cancer Research UK may also provide a contribution towards accommodation costs for residential workshops.
Clinicians and those in professions allied to medicine are particularly encouraged to apply, but these bursaries are available to any UK based clinician or academic researcher with an interest in oncology.
