ISAS - the Institute for Analytical Sciences, with departments in Dortmund and Berlin, is a scientific research establishment jointly supported by the German Federal and States’ Governments. The Institute is governed by the Society for the Advancement of Spectrochemistry and Applied Spectroscopy e.V., who have three members on the Executive Board. The Institute has been joined contractually with the University of Dortmund since 1993 and is a member of the Leibniz Association. It is led by two directors and currently has 106.5 posts, of which 37.5 posts are academic scientists.
