The focus of the CRC for Bioproducts is to develop commercial applications of new bioproducts and bioprocesses. In the broadest sense, bioproducts are materials produced by living organisms. Targets for the CRC are commercialy valuable compounds produced by fermentation technology (principally plant cell culture) and extraction from plant biomass materials, such as agricultural wastes.
