Further information

summary:

QUPRODIS is a Thematic Network / Working Group on the quantum information processing and communication capabilities of distributed quantum systems. The Working Group will classify and quantify the quantum resources, like multi-party correlation and entanglement, how they propagate in distributed quantum systems, and how they are affected by local operations, classical communication and physical interactions. We shall consider a variety of architectures, ranging from quantum networks, where the processing units can be individually addressed, to quantum lattices, where this is not necessarily the case. We shall also explore novel computing methods such as measurement- and noise based computing, and non-standard architectures such as the quantum cellular automata model and quantum neural nets.
