Further information

summary:

INCO-TRUST is targeting international cooperation in the area of Trustworthy, Secure and Dependable ICT infrastructures. The objectives are:

  1. To promote collaboration and partnerships between researchers from the industrialised countries with the goal of coordinating the multiple research efforts underway in the areas of ICT Trust, Security and Dependability.
  2. To leverage and harmonise efforts on the respective sides related to the building and maintenance of large-scale trustworthy ICT systems and infrastructures and the services they deliver.

The action will provide the organisation and financial support required for a practical and effective platform engaged in: (a) discussing progress and priorities; (b) setting the research agendas to be pursued at an international scale; and (c) co-ordinating the sharing, where possible and practical, of best practice, test facilities, knowledge and experience in an effort to avoid duplication in addressing problems arising from interdependencies (both planned and unplanned) of national ICT infrastructures at a global level.

The CA would support collaboration and networking activities of EU researchers internationally, by engaging with top level researchers in the USA, Japan, Australia and exploring co-operation potential in Canada and South Korea. The main vehicle for achieving the above will be through dedicated workshop events.
