summary:
In precise mathematical terms, the goal of the project is to develop and apply K-theory and spectral geometry for Galois-type extensions of noncommutative algebras. We seek verifiable criteria to distinguish different isomorphism classes of principal extensions of noncommutative algebras and K-theory -classes of modules associated to them. On the geometric side, we aim to achieve a new guiding principle in gluing together smooth noncommutative geometries along boundaries.
