Early career researchers’ support

The Australian Academy of Science is supporting the conference organising committee to offer sponsorship to up to 5 “early career” researchers to participate in the conference. This support is provided to expose early career researchers to a new professional network and further develop their career.
Successful candidates will be re-imbursed the cost of their participation up to the maximum value of 1 return domestic economy airfare to Canberra, transport from and to the airport in Canberra, 1 night accommodation and 1 full conference registration (for an approx. amount of $AU500.00). Travel costs of candidates from regional centres or WA will be considered in the final support.
Payment will be received by successful candidates after the conclusion of the conference and once the secretariat has received:
- A short report describing their research topics and objectives along with their perspectives on the conference (800 words).
- The receipts covering the expenditures approved by the secretariat prior to the conference.
