The German Research Foundation: Fuelling the dynamics of research funding

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Kleiner

Prof. Kleiner will present strategic aspects of the DFG combined with considerations of knowledge production and transfer stemming from his own research in production engineering and metal forming techniques.

The DFG serves all branches of science and the humanities by funding research projects and facilitating cooperation among researchers.

With Australia, the DFG has bilateral funding agreements with the Australian Academy of Science, the Australian Research Council (ARC) and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
